Health in Motion, Wheels and Deals, Fredericton, Used Car Deals

Health in Motion, 24 hour spinathon kicked off  at 10am Friday, October 24th in the lobby of Chalmer’s Hospital. The event featured two teams of two spinning for 12 consecutive hours on spin bikes. Megan and John had the first shift from 10am-10pm, Steve and Eric finished off the spinathon with the second shift from 10pm-10am.

The purpose of the event was to raise funds for Oncology, in particular the John Webster Memorial Fund which helps families and patients to pay for expenses (travel etc.) while they undergo cancer treatment.

The event was created by Steve Webster in loving memory of his father who passed from cancer a few years ago. Each year Steve rallies a team of co-workers and friends to participate in the event. This was the 2nd annual 24 hour spinathon.

This year, the event raised $2263 for Oncology. Thank you and hugs to everyone who stopped by to show support and make a donation!!!

A Huggable Good Deed, Wheels and Deals, Fredericton, Used Car Deals

Candice Libbey,Jim Gilberts Wheels and Deals Sales & Finance Consultant, presented Elizabeth Crawford of the Fredericton Food Bank with a donation of school supplies today. The supplies will be used to help local families in need as they prepare their children for the upcoming school year.

Kicking off the Huggable Holiday Season, Wheels and Deals, Fredericton, UsedCarDeals

Wheels and Deals has kicked off the huggable holiday season!

On Saturday evening, we participated in the Fredericton Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade.
Did you see us?
This year the parade theme was “A Disney Christmas”. We were pleased to have Hugs and Kisses on our float along with Mickey and Minnie and some Disney princesses.

On Sunday evening, Hugs and Kisses attended the Festival of Lights Tree Lighting at Pine Grove Nursing Home. They had a great time despite the snow. They ran into Mayor Brad Woodside and Santa Claus at the event!

Watch for us at upcoming community events and have a safe and huggable holiday season!!
