The Fredericton Home Show was first held in 1982 and was organized by Epsilon Club Members. It served to bring interested businesses together to exhibit and talk with many interested shoppers who attended. The funds received from these shows have enabled the Epsilon Club to support more worthy causes and included the establishment of annual scholarships that are awarded to high school graduates. In addition to its usual charitable donations, the Epsilon Y’s Men Club is assisting in building the new YMCA in Fredericton by pledging $100,000 towards the construction cost. Since the clubs inception over 50 years ago, it has been estimated that over one million dollars has been distributed.

Habitat for Humanity Fredericton Northwest / NordOuest
Again this year, Habitat for Humanity has been designated as a community partner for the Fredericton Home Show. This gives the organization the opportunity to exhibit at the show, helping them to raise both funds and awareness.
Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners to build affordable housing and promote home-ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. The Fredericton-area organization was established in 1999.
In 2010, Habitat for Humanity Canada celebrated its 25th anniversary with 68 affiliates, 65 ReStores and almost 2,200 homes built across the country. As one of the 68 affiliates operating under, we are also part of the larger worldwide network of Habitat for Humanity International that spans 93 countries.
